Local Involvement Networks (LINks)

LINks are independent networks made up of individuals and community groups who work to improve local health and social care services. They aim to:

  • ensure that each community has services that reflect the needs and wishes of local people;
  • find out what people think of their local health and care services;
  • give people the opportunity to suggest service improvements to the professionals who deliver health and social care;
  • look into issues which concern the local community.

The job of each LINk is to find out what people like and dislike about local health and social care services and then make sure this information is fed back to health and social care providers, helping them to plan and deliver better and more relevant services.

There are nine LINks in the Trust's area which are listed below. Click on the name to take you to the website of that LINk to see what events they are holding, health issues they are looking at and to read their latest newsletters.
