Clinical Quality and Patient Safety

Clinical Education and Training

Currently Trust clinicians are trained in accordance with the IHCD edexel's award framework. From 2008 we are planning for clinical staff to undertake a foundation degree programme, bringing their development in line with other health professions. Partnership arrangements with major universities are in place.

All Paramedics, nurses and medical staff employed by the Trust are required to be registered with the apprpriate regulatory body and comply with its standards for education and continuing professional development.
