Welcome to the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust website.

South Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides ambulance and urgent care services for the residents and transient population of Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, Devon, Dorset and Somerset.

Our website is organised under 13 main headings to help you find out more about us and to give you opportunities to feedback.

Swine Flu
The National Pandemic Flu Service will stop offering assessments at 1am on 11th February 2010. If, after this time, you think you have swine flu symptoms, you should stay at home and telephone your GP who will be able to assess you and authorise antivirals if you need them. Your GP will also be able to advise you on vaccination. For up to date information visit www.direct.gov.uk/swineflu or call the Swine Flu Information Line on 0800 1 513 513.
